Etsy shop back in game

I finally managed to find time and start working for my etsy shop again. I felt quite bad especially the past month after deactivating all my products there. Now I don't know if this is a proper step, especially after Amazon announcing their handmade section, but I guess only time will show. I am still holding back from the Amazon idea, as I am barely managing my local sales, supplying galleries and etsy. Being a dreamer I find it hard enough to keep my feet on the ground and get my head out of the clouds, so I thought the best in this situation is to sit down and calculate my time properly considering the fact that I cannot be inspired 365 days in the year. And yes I find the last a true problem. I don't like repeating my designs, which means I have to come up constantly with new designs and ideas. With that being said taking on a new task like Amazon is unrealistic step for me, it would be another thing to worry about, another thing that will affect my productivity. But I will definitely keep an eye on how things are going there for others, so any feedback and thoughts are welcomed.

Meanwhile I started seeing light in the tunnel of my work. I was desperate the past months and this is one of the reason why I stopped writing here. And I repeat myself but really I am blessed with true friends who were really helpful, forgiving and encouraging though this period of mine. After all now I am happy to see myself pulling out of the dullness. The other week I went to the artist store, picked up a big and beautiful sketch book and told myself - Alex, you start sketching and writing ideas right now, there is no time to postpone this process. Surprisingly for myself it worked :D

I hope all these words won't break the spell and I will be able to keep up with this tempo till Christmas as a lot of projects are waiting on me right now.
Who would think that me the hopeless-lover-of-summer will actually find a positive turn through the autumn. Life is surprising and easy to cherish in such moments...

Below are shown some of the jewelry I just recently sent to a gallery in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

    1. Mardi, I actually read this article today and was really surprised by this point in Amazon agreement. I wonder if they are really thinking of using designs and produce some cheap stuff or this is just like a protection if somebody wants to sue them.

    1. Hey Dawn, I was actually thinking that big earrings are not very clever decision for the winter. But I just cannot twist myself at the moment, I truly enjoy that size ahahah Thank you <3

  4. What an inspiring blog post! I am an artist, too, so I identified myself in your struggles (being a dreamer and keeping my feet on the ground). You are very lucky to have true friends who are there for you no matter what. Your artwork is superb and you shouldn’t give it up, as it is your gift to the world and will help you in your darkest times. Good luck and never stop creating things!
