Bits and pieces

Ok, I know I am late with watching Breaking Bad and everybody has already seen it, but better late than never. I am totally hooked on this tv series, it is so raw and somehow pentrating. On the top of it all I sincerely haven't seen more realistic acting than what Bryan Cranston shows here. Leave aside the shock of seeing Malcolm's father in totally different light, this guy just rocks big time. As Anthony Hopkins says in his fan letter to Bryan Cranston "I know there is so much smoke blowing and sickening bullshit in this business, and I've sort of lost belief in anything really. But this work of yours is spectacular – absolutely stunning. What is extraordinary, is the sheer power of everyone in the entire production." You can read the rest of it here: http://www.theguardian.com/

What else - rain, mists, working bits and pieces and doing some plans, concerning my near future. Dreaming of distant lands as usual. Working doesn't go as smooth as I want it, but that's a push to think outside of the box as it happened here. I was trying to make a medallion with a beautiful dendrite limestone, everything was half way done when I screwed up the bezel and dropped the stone on the floor. Limestone is very fragile, so it split on halves immediately.
I didn't want to give up, I took the halves and this time more carefully I made pair of earrings.

I am also making new designs of the astro necklaces. Decided to combine birthstones with the different constellations, creating double sided pendant. Here is the first one Ocean jasper with Pisces constellation.

While working on pair of copper earrings a very strange patina occured. I then tried to repeat the effect unsuccessfully. I had to continue working on the piece, so the patina disappeared, but I have a picture of it and I will really appreaciate it if somebody can give me a clue how did this happen.

And here is the rest of the recent jewelry uploaded in the shop.

As usual thanks for stopping by ♥
