It's been 10 days since I arrived in Greece to spend the summer with my friend Alek from Infinity Stop. What I managed to do is swimming twice, going on few walks in the forest, having precious converstations with John and learning lots of stuff about soldering, working with silver and other jewelry insights. Alek is a great teacher, very patient with me while I freak around the flame and drop things all the time on the floor (not hot things happily :D). We also managed to take some pictures, play around with the polaroid camera and as you can imagine it is all a big fun here. And on the top of it all it is my birthday today :) I am turning 28 and I gotta say life seems more beautiful than when I was 18, so I guess I can just drop the complains about growing old and enjoy whatever there is to enjoy out there.
But back on the jewelry, I am more practicing and working together with Alek than actually making my own designs. Still I finished yesterday two new pieces, all based on soldering of course, because this is my new obsession. I usually learn stuff on my own, so now I see how wonderful is to have somebody skilled around me giving tips and advises, while I try to reinvent the wheel.
